Polar Bear Book Swap is a non-profit whose mission is to put books into the hands of children in and around the Northridge local community.
What do we do?
Founded in Dayton, Ohio, Polar Bear Book Swap began with a simple idea: every child deserves access to inspiring stories and educational resources. By attending local events and even sometimes holding our own events, we provide books to the young minds of our community-- Absolutely and always free.
How do we do what we do?
It's simple. PBBS is able to achieve its mission through donations and the hard work of our volunteers. Whether monetary donations or used books, this is how our non-profit is able to give back to the community.
